Important Information for 2024-25 Cupertino HS PROUD Pioneer Band & Color Guard
2024-25 CHS Band Wind Ensemble Auditions
Major Scales
· Perform the 6 major scales in this order: Concert C, F, Bb, Eb, Ab, & Db.
· In 2 minutes or less
· As many octaves per scale as you are capable
· All scales must be performed in complete octaves.
· No specified tempo.
Prepared Music
· Prepare the musical etude for your instrument.
· Points will be based on:
1. Correct notes
2. Correct rhythms
3. Tone quality
4. Dynamics
5. Musicality
6. Tempo
Video recording submission.
· Submit a single video recording of the 6 major scales and the etude listed below to gilbert_iruegas@fuhsd.org by April 12, 2024.
· Please make your face visible as you perform.
