May 17 : New Band Students & parents meeting (Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 7pm)

Cupertino High Band Director Mr. Gilbert Iruegas will hold a meeting on Zoom for new band members and their parents on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 7pm. Please check your email for the Zoom meeting details. If you do not get the email, please contact us at president@chsmarchingband.org

We are beyond excited that the conditions have improved and are now able to hold in-person after school rehearsal. On Tuesday, April 6 at 6pm, all students and staff will report to the “grass” field located between the tennis courts and baseball field for our welcome and introductory meeting where we will review our procedures. We ask that all members bring their equipment with them to the field and enter using the gate on Finch Ave next to the baseball field. If their instrument/ equipment is in the band room, they will have an opportunity to retrieve it after the meeting. After the meeting, the group will be divided into our four sections (horn line, drumline, front ensemble and color guard).

Lastly, all students who will be participating in band rehearsals April 6 - May 27 are required to have completed the processes and forms listed below. At this time, over 100 students have completed all requirements and are expected to return on April 6. Students who have not completed these processes or forms are asked to complete them prior to returning.
